On a personal note, after I (Stefanie Cedar Shames) moved to Orlando, Florida, in 1982, I was watching the news on TV when a story about a golf tournament featured a volunteer. The volunteer was Mr. Raymond Rusch, principal of Hicksville High School, when I was there! A year or so after that, there was a local reunion, and a few of the attendees graduated from HHS with Mr. Rusch and remained friends with him after they retired to Florida.
