They were a good Christian couple that adopted several children, some with handicaps. After retiring, they created a museum in Branson, Missouri. Roy told his son that if the museum ever operates at a loss, close it and sell the contents at auction. His son complied!

You know, time has a way of moving quickly and catching you unaware of the passing years. It seems just yesterday that I was young, just married and embarking on my new life with my mate. Yet in a way, it seems like eons ago, and I wonder where all the years went. I know that I lived them all. I have glimpses of how it was back then and of all my hopes and dreams.

SIX BOYS AND 13 HANDSEach year I am hired to go to Washington, DC, with the eighth grade class from Clinton, WI where I grew up, to videotape their trip. I greatly enjoy visiting our Nation's Capital, and each year I take some special memories back with me. This fall's trip was especially memorable. On the last night of our trip, we stopped at the Iwo Jima Memorial.
