To all readers of Hixnews, please be advised that BufBob - Casale passed away on 12/02/2022. His service to The HixNews Newsletter was invaluable. With Bob gone I do not see how future issues will be published. He had a tireless devotion to making it happen every month.
I wish to thank Roger Whitaker for his diligence in getting The Newsletter together and on line each month. Roger was not a graduate of HHS yet he treated the publication as if he had been.
Also my thanks you Ron Wencer (64) for the beautiful and fact-filled articles that he wrote each month. He investigated many stories that many had not known about.
Never, in the fall of 1999 did Pat and I think that The Newsletter would turn into what it had become. Thank you Bob - we had a long run because of you. Rest in peace old friend your truly deserve it.
