HICKSVILLE VIETNAM WAR ERA MEMORIAL - PROJECT UPDATE

The FINAL Confirmed List of Names, organized alphabetically by graduating class year, just as it will appear on the actual Memorial, is what we first published last month and will continue to publish from now on. To review the final list, please go to this month's Update in the Honoring Our Veterans tab of this issue of HixNews.

Construction progress is on a roll! Plus, $1,000 was received in new donations in June! For details, please see the June 2019 Update, as noted above.

Bill Walden, key project team member, commander of Hicksville's VFW Post and leader of Hicksville's Memorial Day Parade, mentioned our Vietnam Era Memorial during a ceremony held at the Jerusalem Avenue Middle School's Memorial Gardens on Memorial Day. We are receiving excellent additional support as our Memorial was also covered at the ceremony by NY State Assemblyman Mike Montesano, Nassau County Legislator Rose Walker and Hicksville Schools Superintendant Litzman.
