morris andreaAfter college, I lived and worked in Manhattan. My first real job was with an educational publishing company that made do-it-yourslf hobby kies. In 1981 I got hired away to help manufacture Cabbage Patch Kids and moved to Connecticut for a couple of years. When a toy trade magazine was looking for someone deeply involved in the business, they asked me to join them. I was a publisher in the trade magazine business for over 20 years. Most of that time was spent in the toy and gift industries.

I met my musband, Marc, 20 years ago. He's a CPA and his practice (and his life) was based in Philadelphis. We got married and lived in Princeton, NJ, and we commuted to work in opposite directions.

After 7 years of that nonsense, I retired and we (and his practice) moved to south Florida. I went back to school to learn silver smithing and jewelry design, and have sold my work in galleries.

I've never been happier than I am right now.
