I enjoy reading the newsletter about the "good old days" in Hicksville. I found out about HixNews when Norman Reid (class of 63) sent the link to me.

After graduating from HHS, I attended Nassau Community College and than continued on to Morehead State University in Kentucky. In the late sixties, I started teaching Physical Education in a Catholic school in Hicksville. Then, in 1973, I joined the Nassau County Police Department and did thirty years and retired in 2003. I've been retired for nine years now and enjoying every moment of it.

Presently, I live in Freeport, N.Y. and have been here since 1977. My wife, Patricia and I have been married since 1974 and have raised two daughters, Kimberly, who is a hair dresser and Kathleen who is a school teacher in the NYC school system. I also have two Grandsons, 2 and 4 who live close by and take up most of our time.

I've lost contact with a lot of my friends back in Hicksville, but the newsletter helps bring back the memories. Keep up the good work.
