newHickLogoWe are reprinting Ron Wencer's article about Mary Keller, Part 2, which includes new information about a photograph on page 6, along with a fascinating footnote.  We are pleased to include another episode of Where Are They Now?, featuring Hal Blackman from the Class of 1977. We think you will find his story fascinating and helpful! Last month, we asked those who served to email us. After college graduation, worked briefly in electronics field. I worked in a supermarket while in high school. After getting married, resumed supermarket work. While with Grand Union, i worked my way up the ladder all the way to Regional Merchandising Manager. Company moves left us in New Jersey and finally in Connecticut where we settled and raised our family.

Finally, if you had to do it all over again, I would...

Spread our children a little further apart. Wish I had the insight to see that Grand Union was going bust and had gotten out before losing a lot of pension money.
