    We hope you enjoy our latest HixNews issue. Thankfully, we do not have any In Memoriams to report this month, nor have we received any emails,  so there is no Etcetera section. In case you try to access the Hicksville Public Library yearbooks site from our page, it is not working as of now. The library is aware. We plan to focus on memories of holidays in Hicksville next month and would love to hear from you! Article contributions, suggestions, and news are always welcome. I graduated from Harpur College , Binghamton University 1971 receiving a BA degree in Theater. After graduation, I lived in New York City from 1971 - 1982. I wanted to become an attorney, so enrolled in New York State Law School.

I got married in 1979 and graduated from New York State Law School in 1980.

I was admitted to the NYS Bar in 1981.

My wife and I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, California in 1982.

I passed the Bar exam and was admitted to the California Bar in in 1983.

Our daughter, Claire Conlon De Vries, was born in 1984.

For the next 34 years, 1983-2017, I practiced law in San Mateo County.

I was divorced in 2013.

Discovered in 2020 my DNA is half Italian.

I'm loving Italian and Bocce even more than I did before.

I retired in 2018.

Claire works in Sacramento politics. She was married in 2021.

I am looking forward to another trip to New York and hopefully to Italy someday.
