We think you will find his story fascinating and helpful! Last month, we asked those who served to email us. Our webmaster created a new section under Honoring our Vets, where you will see Our Veterans' Stories. Please continue to send us your information so we can add you to this section. I graduated from Harpur College , Binghamton University 1971 receiving a BA degree in Theater. After graduation, I lived in New York City from 1971 - 1982. I wanted to become an attorney, so enrolled in New York State Law School.

I got married in 1979 and graduated from New York State Law School in 1980.

I was admitted to the NYS Bar in 1981.

My wife and I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, California in 1982.

I passed the Bar exam and was admitted to the California Bar in in 1983.

Our daughter, Claire Conlon De Vries, was born in 1984.

For the next 34 years, 1983-2017, I practiced law in San Mateo County.

I was divorced in 2013.

Discovered in 2020 my DNA is half Italian.

I'm loving Italian and Bocce even more than I did before.

I retired in 2018.

Claire works in Sacramento politics. She was married in 2021.

I am looking forward to another trip to New York and hopefully to Italy someday.
