In high school, I was affectionately known as Dottie. I went to nursing school out of high school and also went to college.

My life has been good. My husband, Frank, and me, we've weathered the bad and enjoyed the good. Our sons - Tom, a supervisor with National Grid; Mike, a detective in the New York Police Department (NYPD) (and able to retire next year)); John, also with NYPD; and Danny who works for Con Ed in New York have added so much to our lives.

We have two grand daughters, one grandson and, as I write this, there is another grandchild on the way.

Frank is a retired broker while I still work two days a week as a registered nurse. Frank and I actually met back in 1961. I was in nursing school and he was my roommate's brother..

I really enjoy listening to music, taking trips and socializing with my friends and family. We currently live in Levittown .
