Out of high school, I joined the navy and became a Seabee. I remained four years and then returned to civilian life. I decided not to attend college and began my new life working as a truck driver.
I married in 1969 and then gravitated toward heavy machinery and became licensed as an equipment operator. My marriage dissolved in divorce in 1991. I joined the Masonic Lodge.
I currently live in Lindenhurst on the water. My son, his wife and my grandson live with me. My current passions are motorcycles and drag boat racing. I ride motorcycle with the Chapter 15 Blue Knights.
During my spare time, I teach classes at the equipment operator's union school.
If I had it to do over, I would pursue a Pilot's License and take a trip by boat up the Hudson River.
