As those of you on our readers' list already know, our web master, Bob Wesley, underwent surgery on Tuesday, July 17, 2007. Many thanks to all who sent good wishes and prayers. "Webby" has received them all and will get back to you when he is up and about.

We will try to keep you up to date on "Webby's" progress and when he will be able to accept phone calls. Because this web site is open to the public, we will not print his home address. After Bob returns home, we will send a note to those on our readers' list with the address so you can send him a card.

Heard from Bob Wesley last night, Monday the 30th of July, 2007.

Bob is home and his girlfriend, Dale is taking good care of him. His spirits are good and he continues to improve on a daily basis. He is still weak physically but his demeanor hasn't changed one bit. Bob is one tough cookie who has survived another challenge in his life and will be ready to resume his normal life in the not too distant future.

Upcoming Events

The Town of Oyster Bay is hosting MUSIC UNDER THE STARS featuring Eric Burdon and the Animals. The concert will be held on the Hicksville High School field on Friday, August 3, 2007 at 8 PM.

The Hicksville Annex will be open for tax collection.

In the meantime, a very special Thank You to our guest publishers Roger and Vicky (Penner, '58) Whitaker who graciously volunteered to help us out while Bob recuperates.
