How fun it is to read The Archives.  John Polli, '75, here.   Hey, a while back you guys contacted me to do an article on my kid brother, Greg, '81, 'cause he was Hofstra's athlete of the year in '86 and played minor league baseball @ San Jose, CA.   Anyway, more importantly, over the last 5 yrs he's raised some $250,000 or more for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and is becoming President for the local chapter of Long Island.   He has a golf outing every year on a local course, believe its Great River on July 5th this year, silent auctions and a testimony from my nephew (who has JD) that doesn't leave a dry eye in the house.  Some 300 people attend.   MANY alumni, including Bobby Daub, '72 and Mr. Hilsky, East St. & Hix High teacher attend.

Just a note of sincere thanks for all your efforts on showing our old house at 39 Arbor Lane and including my comment about my sister Beth who passed on in 1967.  Class to be of 1970.  I've already received bites from two of her friends; One a dear friend and another acquaintance.

Ah! The power of the PC i.e.: Technology.  Again, thanks for all your help.  It pulls at the heart strings more than you could ever imagine.  Your efforts, pix' etc. are fabulous to the max!
All my Love,
Mark Leon (known as Leibowitz in High School ) '65
