Robert Cooper

Class of 1961

In high school, I was known as Bob Cooper.

My education beyond high school was 5-1/2 years as an electrical apprentice. I've been married three times, the most recent marriage to Bonnie was back in March of 1988.We met at United Press 25 years ago.

My four children are Holley and Stacey, John and Robin. The grandkids are Zack, Kayla, Krystayna, Matt and Nick.

I lost my brother in the service in Germany on September 12, 1962. Several months later, my dad passed away on November 30^th.

I joined Local Union #3,  I.B.E.W. and worked 44 years as an electrician.

I left New York in 1979 looking for work. I retired in 2005 and now work part time at Krogers. In my spare time, I enjoy tinkering with automobiles. I am currently active in the Masons.

If I had it to do all over again I would like to spend more time traveling in the good old U.S.A.
