Lewis "Lou" Fenigstein

Class of 1961

In high school, I was known as Louie. Those were the days when I was a drummer named Louie.

After high school, I went to Brooklyn Polytech for nearly two years. I had gotten married and the first wife and I had two children. That marriage ended in divorce I married a second time and that, too, ended in divorce. I am the proud grandparent of six wonderful grandkids.

I got involved in carpentry and have been a cabinetmaker since 1975.

I've always been self employed and owned a framing store and a head shop in Hicksville .

I still have the wonderment of a child and love to learn.

For the most  part, my life has been fun. I actually had my picture in the Enquirer once upon a time.

About ten years ago, I met Linda Pravata. Our meeting was by chance through a business negotiation. We grew very fond of each other and we decided to get married finally back in June of 2007.

I enjoy music and art and enjoy good food. I have a special interest in boating and participate at any opportunity.

If I had it to do over again, I would have tried to fine "me" sooner. I have found happiness and for that, I'm very grateful.

As far as a profession, I love my carpentry but I probably should have been a teacher.

Also, I would love to know what it feels like to be a Yankee fan???
