After graduation and my military service, I became a professional musician, a drummer. My only claim to fame was performing with the first bass player from "The Hassels"  that was Billy Joel's first musical band. I worked the south most notable task was on an offshore drilling platform near Odessa , Texas . Wanted to pursue a career in music so headed to California .
