Fund Raising:
Donations reached $8,340 in
August, a $1,340 gain over July, against our goal of $25,000. The total number of donors has now
increased to 71. Momentum towards the $25,000 goal
continues and the goal remains very achievable, if every reader can
spare as little as $10 for this worthy cause. If you have not yet donated,
please do it now and remember your donations are tax deductible.

Many of the donations
have been accompanied by notes thanking the Project Team for its efforts
to build the Memorial. Such
notes make our work even
more gratifying and are very much appreciated.
More of these notes appear at the end of this update. There
were no new entries to the Confirmed List in August, but some missing
information was gained. The
Confirmed List remains at a total of 1,897 names.
There has been no change in the Unconfirmed List of Names
for some time now. We
continue to need the help of all our readers here!!

Unconfirmed List was created to specifically insure we don't leave
anyone behind from earlier class years (the 1940's and 50's) who
served during the Vietnam War Era and deserve recognition.
