Fund Raising:
Donations reached $7,000 in
July, an $800 gain over June's total, against our goal of $25,000. Once again, there was a significant
increase in the number of new donors, with 16 new donors added for a
total number of 67! Momentum towards the $25,000 goal
continues and the goal remains very achievable, if every reader can
spare as little as $10 for this worthy cause. If you have not yet donated,
please do it now and remember your donations are tax deductible.

Many of the donations
have been accompanied by notes thanking the Project Team for its efforts
to build the Memorial. Such
notes make our work even
more gratifying and are very much appreciated.
More of these notes have been published in this edition of HixNews. One
new entry was made to the Confirmed List in July for a new total 1,897
names. Once again, there has
been no change in the Unconfirmed List of Names.

you may be familiar with, as a reference and see if you have a new name
or some missing data on existing names to email to us.
Class years, where known, are specifically shown and missing data
is marked in red, to make it easy for readers to see what's needed. The
Unconfirmed List was created to specifically insure we don't leave
anyone behind from earlier class years (the 1940's and 50's) who
served during the Vietnam War Era and deserve recognition.
