Fund Raising:
Donations reached $6,200 in
June, doubling our May increase, against our goal of $25,000. More significantly, the total number of
donors increased by over 40% to 51! This starts to show that we can truly
reach the $25,000 it will take to build and maintain the Memorial, If
every reader can spare as little as $10 for this worthy cause. If you have not yet donated,
please do it now and remember your donations are tax deductible.

achieve our goal and will represent an even much broader cross section
of HixNews readers, plus past
and present Hicksville residents in general.

donors appears at the end of this monthly update.
Many of the donations
have been accompanied by notes thanking the Project Team for its efforts
to build the Memorial. Such
notes make our work even
more gratifying and are very much appreciated. No
new entries were made to either the Confirmed List, or Unconfirmed List,
of Names in June, so our confirmed total remains at 1,896 names.

As

save you time, just look for names from your class year and other years
you may be familiar with, as a reference and see if you have a new name
or some missing data on existing names to email to us.
Class years, where known, are specifically shown and missing data
is marked in red, to make it easy for readers to see what's needed. The
Unconfirmed List was created to specifically insure we don't leave
anyone behind from earlier class years (the 1940's and 50's) who
served during the Vietnam War Era and deserve recognition.
