Help With This One Chris Andersen, class of 1967, snail mailed me a collage picture that someone had presented to him. Chris was pretty sure it was in my era, so wanted me to identify some of the students. I looked at the picture and saw a photo that showed people I recognized. It was Bill Schrimpe, Dick Solby, Dick DiLeo and Fred Goldman. The boys were dressed in white tuxedos, so it had to be a Prom or a Ball. And they all were from the class of 1960. The theme for the 1960 Senior Ball was
"Enchanted Isle." The couples in attendance danced to the music of
the Clem DeRosa Orchestra. In the picture that Chris sent, the band that
was performing was called The Tempo's. There is a good chance that the picture was from
the Junior Prom in 1959. I scanned and separated the photos to individual
shots. Please take a look at the pictures and see if you can identify
the event, and provide some history about the group The Tempo's. Send your response to editors@hixnews.com
