HICKSVILLE VIETNAM WAR ERA MEMORIAL - PROJECT UPDATE

The FINAL Confirmed List of Names, as originally published two months ago, appears again in this month's Update in theHonoring Our Veterans tab of this issue of HixNews.
Construction progress continues to be excellent!!  In addition, another $1,000 was received in new donations in July!  For details, please see the July 2019 Update, as noted above.

Since our last UPDATE, the Memorial's Center Stone has been mounted on the previously poured concrete footers.  Note the picture below, taken by John Tranchina, HHS '64, just after it was mounted.

As always, should you wish to make any comments on the Project's status, please email me at jcar4a@aol.com.

On behalf of the Project Team,

Joe Carfora
HHS 1962

Each month, we profile a former student that has submitted a biographical sketch of their life. The profile this month features the D'Antuono and Dantuono Families who graduated many siblings in different classes over many years, from 1965 to 1988.. Many of you have not used the opportunity of sharing precious moments with other classmates. Itís not too late to submit a sketch to be included in the Alumni Bio Section (click the link on the left to go to the bios section) of the newsletter. We are including a writeable document that you can fill in on you computer and, after completing the document, forward to editors@hixnews.com
